Liberal Democrats are set to take control of Sheffield City Council after making wide-scale gains against both Labour and the Conservatives at the local elections. Lib Dems gained an extra six seats, gaining five from Labour and one from the Conservatives. It means that the Liberal Democrats are the largest group on the Council with a majority of six. The result also means that there are no Tories left in Sheffield.
